No. Baptized members, members in regular attendance, and sincere seekers preparing for baptism are all welcome. Your reference simply confirms that you are an active part of an Adventist congregation and are honestly pursuing the Adventist walk.

ID + selfie is usually approved within a few hours. The pastoral reference depends on how quickly your pastor or elder responds — most come back within 2–3 days. You can browse and complete your profile while you wait.

You can use a Sabbath School teacher, Bible worker, conference youth director, or any active elder as a reference. If you genuinely have no one yet, contact us and our care team will help you find a verified Adventist member to vouch for you.

We score compatibility on four pillars: doctrinal alignment (Sabbath, health message, 28 Fundamentals, lifestyle), life-stage fit (age, children, location, willingness to relocate), character signals from your questionnaire and references, and practical preferences.
