Privacy Policy

When you create a profile we store the details you enter: your name, email address, date of birth, gender, location, phone number, denomination, photos, your written bio and your answers to the compatibility questionnaire. If you request pastor verification we also store your church details and your reference's name and email so we can contact them.

• Basic usage data: pages viewed, approximate country and region, browser and device type.
• Sign-in and security data, including the IP address used when you register or sign in.
• Messages, likes, passes and profile views, so the service works and can be moderated.

Government ID images and selfies uploaded for verification are stored in a private bucket that is never publicly accessible. They are reviewed only by our verification team, are never shown to other members, and are deleted once verification is settled or when you ask us to remove them.

• To build your profile and suggest compatible members of the opposite gender.
• To verify that members are real people in good standing with a local church.
• To send service emails: sign-in links, new matches, new messages and account notices.
• To keep the community safe: moderating photos, bios and reported behaviour.
• To send occasional news about the site, only if you opted in. You can opt out any time.

Other verified members can see your display name, photos, age, height, general location, denomination and the parts of your profile you chose to share. They never see your email address, phone number, ID documents, IP address or reference details. Contact details are exchanged privately in chat, at your own discretion.

We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is needed with the service providers that run the site: our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, our payment processor for membership payments, and analytics that measure aggregate traffic. Each of them processes data on our instructions only.

• Edit or delete any part of your profile from your dashboard at any time.
• Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any such email.
• Ask us to delete your account and personal data by writing to us from the Contact page.
• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

We keep your profile while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your profile, photos and questionnaire answers. A small amount of records may be kept where we are required to, for example payment records and safety reports.

The site is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to register. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we remove it.
